PMC – Project management and coordination
The task of the PMC is the superordinate project management and includes the scientific and organizational coordination of the research activities, the functional communication and data exchange between the different subprojects, the German and Chinese partners, and stakeholders. In addition, the PMC is responsible for provisioning the necessary project infrastructure in the research area, the organization of workshops, meetings and external communication. The umbrella of the PMC covers additional activities including remote sensing (in cooperation with EFTAS Fernerkundung Technologietransfer GmbH), sustainability analysis using the RISE (Response Inducing Sustainability Evaluation) tool, and the evaluation of ecosystem services using InVEST (Integrated Valuation of Ecosystem Services and Tradeoffs).
