SP 2 - Land use, climate change and hydrological EFS/ESS

Within "The Future Okavango" this subproject focuses on the understanding of scale-related interactions between land management, climate conditions and hydrological ecosystem functions & services (ESF&S).

In more detail,  SP02 aims at developing suitable and robust methods and tools to assess land management options and climate change impacts on hydrological ESF&S at the local, regional and trans-regional level. This will be achieved by applying a holistic, interdisciplinary and multi-scale approach based on comprehensive hydrological system analysis integrating the micro-field, meso-subcatchment  and basin wide scale.
